"I work from home in a small apartment, and this really made my setup work the way I want it to. I need to use all six plugs, plus I like to keep my phone and MiFi charging while working too. This was the perfect thing for me to get everything plugged in and essentially retrofitted into a built-in apartment wall desk setup that was intended for the large desktop towers of the late '90s. I’m ordering a second one in hopes it transforms another part of my weird floor plan. Bonus: The USB ports seem to fast charge my iPhone XS Max. I can go from dead to fully charged in about 90 minutes." —Moose

I did not understand the LED function, but when you turn it on, each slot that is actively charging has slight blue glow to the divider. At a glance, you can see which devices are charging and which are charged. I like this. It is not so bright that it is distracting. I also love the fact that all my devices are now organized in one place with nice short codes for charging. Gone are all my cords snaked around on my desk. Promising review: "I got spoiled by a Herman Miller chair at work. I've been putting up with some cheap cloth and foam computer desk chair for years. Now that I'm a bit older, and do some work at home, I needed more comfort and support, and this chair works for what I need and it didn't cost me $800. Granted this one isn't as adjustable, and the lumbar support isn't pronounced, but it is soooo much better than what I had. It might be difficult for some to put together, as it can be a bit heavy for one person, but the weight also contributes to the 'well-made' feeling once put together. The best thing about this chair is the size of the seat, which fully supports my butt, and back of my thighs, all the way to the back of my knees. The neck support is nice too, but I could see some being irritated with the limited positioning — it can be removed." —Christopher L. Dulawan

Ergonomically customizable (by inflating/deflating) for any work station. I had I bought for work and another at home. I recently switched jobs and took my one in from home for the front desk window as we share coverage. All my co-workers love it! At my previous job, 90% of my co-workers with desk jobs purchased one for their work stations as well. What I love most, as I am petite and have lower back damage, is that this type of desk chair never puts pressure on the nerves in your leg. It is a must try." —SJCJ

Reviewers suggest turning the heat down from high to medium once the drink gets down to about the halfway point so it stays a comfortable temperature!

After seeing this coffee warmer all over BuzzFeed Shopping and even gifting my dad one for Christmas, I finally decided to buy one for myself. Based on all the reviews, I was pretty confident I'd soon be kicking myself for not getting it sooner, and that proved to be true: This thing not only looks good, but works great for keeping my coffee warm all day long (because yes, I'm one of those people that'll sip on coffee until 5 p.m., all right!!). I was kind of worried it'd be too small for some of my larger mugs, but the center plate is bigger than expected and accommodated every mug in my (very eclectic) collection perfectly. I can confirm that flat-bottomed mugs are the best option for using with this warmer as they do stay hotter, but it still keeps my concave-bottom mugs warm enough for my taste. Also, I looove how sleek the white version looks on my white desk, and the auto-shutoff function is a nice safety feature as an absent-minded person.

I decided that working from home called for a bit of an upgrade, so I bought this one after my husband raved about the one he bought. So far, I love it! It is very soft and feels great to rest my feet on, especially when my plantar fasciitis flares up. However while being soft and a bit squishy, it still feels solid and doesn't droop straight down when your feet are on it. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a soft foot rest with support!" —Riversong86

Promising review: "I am a teacher and got my Rocketbook for the beginning of the school year. I use it all the time at work and at home. I love it that I can take notes then, use the app to scan them and send them to a destination of my choosing. There is a nifty feature that allows you to title the page of notes and that will become the title of the file that the app sends. You can send your notes to one or several email addresses, to a specific folder in your Google Drive, to Evernote and more. I have found that I am much more organized with this notebook tool because I don't have things written in several different places (that I would normally not be able to find when I need them). My colleagues love it that I can email them the notes from team meetings. I also use it for personal journaling." —Joanna Norman

The top has some kind of pseudo leather and is anti-slip so I don't loose everything and it has cool inserts that help things from falling if I set it at an angle. Puts the fun in Functional." —TweedleDumsTwin

I've had this cooling pad since 2018, though I mainly use it with my personal laptop when I'm playing PC games. The pad itself is super quiet and not distracting, and it does a fantastic job of actively cooling down my now-older laptop while it's working hard to run games, so I can vouch for its effectiveness. It's also *fantastic* to use while you're working with your laptop on the couch, keeping your legs away from the heat without feeling bulky or heavy. If you're using a MacBook, be sure to pick up a USB-C hub to connect this.

Promising review: "Best purchase I have made in years. Only had it two days, but the first words out of my mouth to my wife were, 'I can work for hours like this.' If you work from home and like to work on the couch, recliner, breakfast nook, patio, etc, and you have your computer in your lap, this is an absolute must-have. Not only does it keep your legs and lap cool, but it also keeps your computer cool and able to process much more efficiently." —Trent Thiel

Promising review: "Being new to the tech world I was concerned about being able to use this light to best effect, but turns out it is so simple to set up and has made all the difference in how I look and how people can see items I want to show them on Zoom calls. I did find the clamp to be too tight for my older hands to manage but found it works quite well sitting on the desktop." —me

I have a FlexiSpot electric standing desk at home (this one, specifically) and love it — it's a great brand, and mine hasn't given me any issues over the past few years.

Promising review: "For 20 years, I owned and sat at a sturdy, wooden desk that I picked up at Goodwill for $50 in 2002. It served me very well for a long time. However, since recently moving into a new home, I wanted to make a change to something cooler, more modern, adjustable, and incapable of incentivizing me storing junk. I saw this desk on Amazon, read the good reviews, and determined this was the one. After assembling it, I am thrilled I chose this one. With a press of a button, I can raise and lower it to appropriate heights for either comfortably sitting or standing (I'm 5'10"). The material itself is very sturdy. There are NO drawers, which, after 20 years having the other home desk and having desks at work, I realized that drawers do nothing more than collect and store junk. Can't do that with this desk as this desk encourages minimalism and storing that junk somewhere else, i.e. probably the trash while I keep this desk tidy. Assembly was fairly easy. Definitely recommend." —David Taylor

I've had this exact lumbar support pillow since 2018, back when I was still working in an office, and I can't express enough how much it's improved my posture and reduced back pain after long hours of sitting. I initially got it because I was stuck working in one of those awful office chairs with zero lower back support, and years later, I still use it at home, even though I have one of those fancy gaming chairs with built-in adjustable lumbar support, simply because I prefer how soft and comfortable this pillow is. It fills the curve of your spine *perfectly*, and you can adjust the positioning as needed, with straps that go around the back of your chair to hold it steady. I personally use it in conjunction with the ErgoFoam footrest, and I never have back pain after working anymore.

Promising review: "Working at home, you deserve to feel comfortable while working for hours. This product has restored my worn-out computer chair and has it feeling with a lumbar upgrade. Its back support feels comfortable and I hardly feel any back and neck pain anymore due to its soft foam used as a lumbar support. Amazing quality and feels great when sitting for a prolonged period of time. Definitely worth the investment for your health and work productivity." —Lee Fernandez

Promising review: "Upgrades your cheap office chair. I had bought a typical chair for my home office for around $150, expecting to use it one to two times per week. Then COVID-19 hit and I started working from home every day, so sitting on my chair for 40+ hours per week. After a few weeks, I started getting pain I'd never had before, kind of in my butt, turned out it was probably my sciatic nerve. I was trying all kinds of yoga, stretching, walking instead of running — anything to figure out how to stop it. Then at some point it occurred to me that it might be my chair. I bought this cushion and the pain disappeared immediately, and after about four months it has not returned. One tip though ‚ this cushion put me up about two inches higher than I was before. I ended up needing to buy a foot rest to raise my knees for better ergonomic form." —K. A. Fischer
